Most houses, and even some top floor flats, come with loft spaces which have traditionally been filled with seasonal decorations and items boxed up to be discovered another day. Allowing tenants to have access to this area for their own storage is a fair gesture, but if you do, please make sure you haven’t left any heirlooms that could possibly feature on the Antiques Roadshow.
Similarly, garden sheds should be cleared for the tenant’s use as well as garages and under stairs cupboards.
