Presenting a property
Investment in property to rent in the short or long term is more popular than ever since the creation of the “Buy to Let” mortgage and since confidence in pensions has fallen.
This increased investment in the market has brought with it healthy competition and more choice for tenants. Coupled with an abundance of new build properties coming onto the market, it is now more important than ever to make sure your investment is looking it’s best at every marketable opportunity.
A home is not a home unless it is treated as such, and a property that is presented as a “place that someone else can live” may not earn the respect of the person that rents it. Therefore, the best advice that any agent can give to their client before any other question is answered is “would you live in this house?”
