Moving In
After Cox and Company have completed the necessary references, and you have agreed to any terms stipulated by the referencing company, we will send you a draft of the tenancy agreement, hopefully in time for you to read through and familiarise yourself with the terms. If you have any questions regarding specific clauses in the agreement, please do not hesitate to call our office.
Once the agreement has been sent to you, we will contact you again to arrange a convenient time, during normal opening hours, for you to come in to the office and pick up keys. We would recommend that you allow half an hour for this appointment as we will require you, and any other party to the agreement, to sign documents. We will also expect payment for the deposit, rent and any other agreed amounts, to be made in cleared funds at this time.
Prior to this appointment, we would ask you to make contact with the necessary utility companies to arrange transfer of the billing accounts into your name. To assist you with this process,
