Whilst we carry out pre tenancy references and do our best to obtain sound tenants, there is always a risk that the tenants may default on their rent. Government statistics show a big increase in court orders for tenant repossessions in the London and the adjoining county areas – some as much as 30% increases.

With this increased uncertainty we are pleased to confirm details of a rent and legal protection policy that may be of interest to our property management landlords. We have negotiated special rates on behalf of our  Manage My Property landlords with Let Insurance Services, our insurance provider. Unlike many other rent protection policies the premium can be paid out of your monthly rent during the tenancy, to help with cashflow.

The specialist rent and legal cover for landlords is arranged under a block policy and includes the following benefits:

We can offer a more comprehensive policy which includes cover for up to 12 monthly payments of rent (less one month excess) and up to 2 months cover after vacant possession (following non payment of rent) for an annual charge of 2.63% of the annual rent.
